Frequently asked questions

What is a Me-cho?

Me-cho's (Me-ko) are a combination between a cat and a bat ( Meow - Echo)

I am a artist interested in designing a Me-cho

We'd love to hear from you! At Sty-Brids, we're passionate about supporting both new and experienced artists, and we encourage creators of all skill levels and art styles to apply.

To be considered, simply submit an Artist Collaboration Inquiry through our contact form. Please include examples of your artwork, links to your portfolio or social media, and anything you'd like us to know about your artistic style.

While every art style is welcome, not every submission may be selected. If your style is a good fit for the Sty-Brids universe and we're looking for new collaborators, we'll reach out to discuss the opportunity.

Please note that any artwork created as part of an approved collaboration is intended for commercial use. This means your design may be used on plushies, merchandise, promotional materials, social media, our website, and other official Sty-Brids products. Full details regarding usage rights, credit, compensation, and ownership will be outlined and agreed upon before any collaboration begins.

Can I free my Me-cho's arms?

Yes! Your Me-cho's arms are lightly secured with a few stitches to help keep them in place during shipping and display. If you'd like your Me-cho to have free-moving arms, you can carefully snip the small threads holding them in place using scissors or a seam ripper.

Be sure to cut only the securing threads to avoid damaging the plush. Once released, your Me-cho's arms will be free to move independently.

Please note that any damage caused while removing the stitches is not covered under our return or replacement policy.

Where are your products manufactured?

Our Me-cho plushies are proudly manufactured by a trusted production partner overseas. Every Me-cho begins as an original design created either in-house by the Sty-Brids team or by selected collaborating artists who have been chosen through our Artist Collaboration program.

We work closely with our manufacturer throughout the entire production process to ensure every plush meets our quality standards, from material selection to stitching, embroidery, and the final product. Each production run is carefully reviewed before it's made available for adoption.

Our goal is to create high-quality, original plushies while keeping them as affordable as possible for our community.

Tax and shipping cost?

Shipping costs are calculated based on your location, the size of your order, and current carrier rates. This applies to all customers, including those within the United States, as shipping costs can vary depending on the distance and destination.

Any applicable taxes are also calculated automatically during checkout based on your location and order details.

International shipping costs may vary depending on the destination, carrier fees, and any applicable customs requirements.

Your final shipping cost and tax amount will be shown during checkout before you complete your order. We do our best to package every Me-cho safely and securely so they arrive ready for their new home!

How are Me-cho's named?

Me-cho's names are created the same way they are designed — by combining different inspirations together. Since Me-cho's are hybrids, their names are also a hybrid, combining elements from two different people who inspire that Me-cho.

For example, Sa-via gets her name from combining Savannah and Olivia. Their personalities, likes, and interests help inspire the Me-cho's own traits and story, giving each one a unique identity.
